BACKPACK BLESSINGS FOR SOUTHSIDE ELEMENTARY

In partnership with Southside Elementary, we provide small "Backpack Blessings" of food weekly for students who are likely not receiving proper (if any) nutrition over the weekend. Members bring donations, and there is always a need to contribute to these bags and to help pack them monthly. 

WAY OF THE CROSS

Way of the Cross is a soup kitchen located in downtown Gadsden which feeds 300-500 people a day as an expression of the love & welcome of Christ. We prepare bagged lunches for 150+ people in need every fifth Friday of the year.

HOMEBOUND VISITATION

Our congregation has many people who have been an integral and beloved part of our church family for many years. Unfortunately, due to age or changing health, they are no longer able to be a physical presence in the church. To express our continued love and care for them, a team of church members ministers to them through monthly visits, weekly phone calls, and occasionally mailing them cards.
